Carolina Silvics was started in 1998 to provide wetland mitigation contracting services. Since then, we have assisted contractors & landowners in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Maryland in implementing successful natural resources projects. Mary-Margaret S. McKinney, RF, PWS
As a Professional Wetland Scientist with a B.S. in Botany and a M.S. in Forestry, Mary-Margaret brings a wealth of insight to any natural resources project. She has performed and managed wetland mitigation site searches, site feasibility studies, design plans, and interagency prospectuses. With extensive experience in compensatory mitigation implementation and interagency negotiation, Mary-Margaret understands the teamwork involved in creating a successful mitigation site.
J. Dwight McKinney, Jr., RF
Dwight has twelve years of experience as a Registered Forester with emphasis on implementation of management plans. With both Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science degrees in Forestry and a minor in Biological and Agricultural Engineering, he is uniquely suited to providing innovative forestry contracting services. He has personally overseen the planting of over 3,000 acres of compensatory wetland mitigation and conservation plantings from the eastern shore of Maryland to the mountains of North Carolina. He is also a NC licensed pesticide applicator.
